Binance Withdrawal Stuck in 'Processing' for Too Long? Three-Layer Troubleshooting

Causes and solutions for Binance withdrawals stuck in 'Processing' or 'Under Review' status: risk control review, on-chain congestion, low network fees, and whitelist cooldown.

Withdrawal showing "Processing" for hours without moving? This article provides a three-layer troubleshooting guide covering risk control → on-chain status → customer support. 1. Two Stages of Withdrawal

StageStatusTime Needed
1. Binance risk reviewProcessing / Under Review5 minutes to 2 hours
2. On-chain broadcast & confirmationSent / Completed1-30 minutes (depends on network)

If it is stuck in stage 1 for more than 2 hours, you need to investigate.

2. Stage 1: Risk Control Review

Factors Triggering a Review

  • Large withdrawal amount (in USD equivalent)
  • First-time withdrawal to a new address
  • Withdrawing immediately after a new device login
  • The 24-hour security lock period has not ended
  • Assets coming from high-risk sources (e.g., recently deposited)

Wait Times

  • Regular withdrawals: 5-30 minutes
  • Large amounts: 1-2 hours
  • Flagged for risk: manual review taking 1-3 business days

Speeding It Up

You cannot speed it up. But you can avoid triggering it:

  • Whitelist the address in advance.
  • Do not withdraw immediately after logging in from a new location.
  • Split large amounts into smaller batches.

3. Stage 2: On-Chain Confirmation

Once the risk review passes, Binance broadcasts the transaction to the blockchain. You will see:

  • Status changes to "Sent"
  • A TXID appears
  • It can be searched on a block explorer

On-chain confirmation times:

  • BTC: 30 minutes
  • ETH: 5 minutes
  • TRC20: 1-3 minutes
  • BEP20: < 30 seconds

The status will show "Completed" only after reaching the receiving party's required number of confirmations.

4. Stuck in "Processing" for Over 2 Hours

Follow this order:

1. Check for a 24-Hour Lock

You can check the lock time on the Account Security page. You cannot withdraw if you are still in a lock period.

2. Check if It is a New Address + Still in the 24-Hour Cooldown

New addresses have a 24-hour cooldown. Wait for the cooldown to end.

3. Check for Large Amount Manual Review

Look at the status note in your withdrawal history. If it says "Under Review" → wait.

4. Contact Customer Support

If none of the above applies, submit a support ticket: "Withdrawal stuck" + Order ID + Time.

5. "Sent" On-Chain but Not Received

If stage 1 passed and there is a TXID on the chain, but the receiver doesn't see it:

1. Wait for Confirmations

Wait for the required number of confirmations depending on the network.

2. Receiver Wallet Sync

Some wallets synchronize slowly. Refresh or re-import the seed phrase.

3. Wrong Network Selected

If you selected the TRC20 network on Binance, but the receiving platform only supports ERC20, the coins will be "stuck" on the TRC20 network and will not arrive. You need to contact the receiving platform.

4. Missing Memo

Networks like XRP / EOS require a Memo. If missed, the coins will be "suspended" and the receiver needs to use customer support to manually credit the deposit.

6. Urgent Cancellation

You can only cancel within a very short window after submission:

  • During risk control review: Occasionally possible to cancel.
  • After on-chain broadcast: Impossible (on-chain transactions are irreversible).

If you notice a mistake, immediately click "Cancel" in your withdrawal history. If it fails, you have to accept the reality.

7. Long-Term Advice

1. Test Routing

Use 10 USDT to test a first-time withdrawal to a new address. Only send the large amount after confirming the arrival.

2. Do Not Withdraw During Maintenance

Binance occasionally performs temporary maintenance on certain networks. Check the announcements before withdrawing.

3. Keep All Evidence

Keep the withdrawal Order ID, TXID, on-chain screenshots, and email notifications. They will be useful if you need to appeal.

4. Emergency Handling

If a withdrawal is stuck for a long time and your account is normal → it is just a slow review. If your account has anomalies (unrecognized login, changed settings) → freeze your account immediately.

FAQ

Q1: How long is considered a timeout for a review? If a regular withdrawal doesn't change after 1 hour, you can consult support. For large withdrawals, 4 hours is within the normal range.

Q2: Can I cancel during the review? Sometimes. Look for the "Cancel" button in your withdrawal history.

Q3: How long does customer support take to reply? Usually, you get the first reply within 24 hours.

Q4: Can a withdrawal review be rejected? Very rarely. But if the address is blacklisted by Binance's system (known stolen funds address, sanctioned address), it will be rejected and refunded.
