Binance Deposit Not Arrived? 4 Steps to Check On-Chain Status

If your Binance deposit hasn't appeared in your account, follow this 3-tier troubleshooting flow: On-chain check → Binance check → Support check to locate your funds.

If your account balance hasn't increased after depositing, this guide will show you how to locate your funds across three layers: on-chain, platform, and support. Download links: Binance website, mobile Binance official app, and for iOS users without the app, see the iOS install guide.

1. 4-Step Troubleshooting Flow

3Check Binance deposit history1 minute

2. Step 1: Find Your TXID

The TXID is the unique identifier of an on-chain transaction. Copy it from the transaction history of the wallet or exchange you withdrew from.

Format: A 64-character string (e.g., 0xabc123...).

3. Step 2: Check the Block Explorer

NetworkExplorer
TRC20tronscan.org
ERC20etherscan.io
BEP20bscscan.com
Solanasolscan.io
BTCblockchain.com

Paste your TXID into the corresponding block explorer and look for:

  • Status: Success / Pending / Failed.
  • Confirmations: This must meet Binance's requirements to be credited (e.g., 19 for TRC20, 12 for ERC20).
  • From / To: Verify the sender and receiver addresses.

4. Step 3: Binance Deposit History

Go to Binance → Wallet → Deposit History → find the record matching your time.

Understanding Statuses

  • "Processing": Confirmed on-chain, Binance is crediting the funds (usually takes a few minutes).
  • "Completed": Arrived, your balance has increased.
  • "Awaiting Network Confirmation": Still waiting on-chain (check the block explorer for progress).
  • "Failed": Wrong network chosen or incorrect address.

5. Step 4: Contact Support

If the transaction has been confirmed on-chain for over 30 minutes but still isn't showing in your Binance deposit history:

  • Open a "Deposit Not Arrived" support ticket.
  • Provide the TXID, network type, and time.
  • Customer support will handle it within 1-3 business days.

6. Common Causes

Cause 1: Wrong Network Chosen

You selected ERC20 when withdrawing, but deposited into a TRC20 address on Binance. Refer to our previous guide on how to handle this.

Cause 2: Deposited to an Old Address

Binance occasionally updates addresses. If you copied an old, cached address, you sent funds to an inactive destination. Always generate a fresh address in the app before depositing.

Cause 3: Network Congestion

During high-gas periods on ERC20, taking 30 minutes is normal. For BTC, it might take hours during low-fee periods.

Cause 4: Large Amount Risk Control

Certain large or high-frequency deposits trigger risk control reviews, requiring 1-2 business days for manual clearance.

Cause 5: Compliance Review

If Binance's system flags the source of funds (e.g., coming from a monitored on-chain address), the deposit will be paused for review.

7. How to Avoid Issues

1. Test Small Amounts First

Always send 5-10 USDT to verify it arrives before transferring a large sum.

2. Double-Check the Address

Verify the first 8 and last 8 characters character by character before hitting send.

3. Refresh Your Cached Addresses

Always generate your address live from the app for every deposit; do not rely on old saved addresses.

4. Use Memos When Required

Some coins (like EOS, XRP) require a Memo or Tag. Missing this will result in lost funds.

8. Recovery Process

If you chose the wrong network or address, Binance offers a "Recovery" service:

  1. Submit a recovery application via customer support.
  2. Provide your TXID and explain the error.
  3. After review, Binance will retrieve the funds from the blockchain (only if they possess the private keys for the destination address).
  4. This usually incurs a processing fee.

Not all errors can be recovered. Transfers to completely unrelated addresses are lost forever.

FAQ

Q1: Why hasn't Binance updated when there is already 1 confirmation on-chain? Binance requires multiple confirmations (12-19 depending on the network). Wait until the count is met.

Q2: What should I do if my USDT deposit says "Under Review"? It's undergoing a compliance check. Wait 1-3 business days.

Q3: Can I expedite the process? You can check progress in your support ticket, but spamming support will not speed up the review.

Q4: How long until I give up hope on a wrong address? If sent to an entirely unrelated address, it's gone. If sent to another Binance-owned address, it can be recovered.
